The Spirit will not inspire anything against Jesus' character. He convicts you of sin so he won't lead you to sin. One of the fruits is self-control. He won't make you act out of control. Don't be deceived or turned off by the madness.won't </p>
The Spirit gives you so much more.
His presence in you identifies you to God. It is like a signature
He gives us insight and discernment through the word. This is why the word is called the sword of the Spirit. It is the only offensive piece of our armor.

He convicts the world of sin to draw people to God and believers of the sin they have committed to bringing them to repentance. For believers, the Spirits achieves this, bringing to mind what we have learned.

Even though we receive the Spirit, we must e must yield to the Spirit. This why Paul says to walk in the Spirit if we have it

Ephesians 1:13-14
New International Version
. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

John 14:15-18
New International Version
Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

John 16:7-15
New International Version
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but I will send him to you if I go. 8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not believe in me; 10 about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”

Galatians 5:16-25
New International Version
16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. As I did before, I warn you that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentlenesses, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:12-16
New International Version
12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for,

“Who has known the mind of the Lord
to instruct him?”

But we have the mind of Christ.

Ephesians 6:17 New International Version
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Ephesians 4:30 New International Version
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

All emphasis is mine.
